UK’s fastest growing life science comms agency announces EU expansion plan
Specialist international agency ramarketing, headquartered in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK has announced plans to open a fourth office in mainland Europe.
Following exponential growth in 2020 and 2021, with an average year-on-year growth over 50% per cent, ramarketing has firmly cemented its position as one of the fastest-growing life science agencies in the world.
The company was named PR Week’s fastest-growing agency last year in the prestigious Top 150 List and was also shortlisted for Export Champion of the Year at The Growing Business Awards 2021 for its international revenues.
Building on this success, the business is now gearing up for further geographic expansion in 2022 after the success of its Manchester, UK and Boston, US offices which both opened in 2018. It is also on a major recruitment drive to hire a further 15 team members in early 2022.
The company aims to support the buoyant global pharma industry supply chain and capitalise on the emerging biotech hotspots in mainland Europe by creating an EU presence. Reflecting on ramarketing’s success and looking forward to the future, Managing Director, Emma Banks said:
“We’ve had a hugely successful couple of years, and we continue to drive our client experience and service capability forward. We’ll be building our team again in 2022, as well as opening our fourth office in mainland Europe to support our growing roster of clients in the region.”
A 2021 recruitment drive made good on the firm’s ambitious plan to increase its number of specialist consultants by a quarter, employing 15 (bringing the total to 55) design, content and marketing experts.
Emma continued: “We are proud of the impact we make for businesses that operate in the life science space and it means our specialist skills are in high demand.
“Our experts are based around the world which enables us to support clients globally. We have developed a strong skillset in the biotech and pharma outsourcing sector, and through our sector knowledge and exceptional training programs, we’re able to thoroughly understand the world of our customers and enable their marketing company to make an impact on its target markets.”
Ramarketing’s expansion is also fuelled by a successful export strategy, attracting new clients, including global life science organisations and leading suppliers in the space, across multiple continents including Asia, North America and Europe.
